I will never ever stop recommending Montana Pine as your wedding venue!!

Not only is it absolutely beautiful- which photos do it absolutely no justice!! Its more of a feeling. Once you're there you feel like you're in a completely different world only surrounded by the friends and family you chose to be there with you!❤️

Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect! Let me explain...

Im really, really sorry!! - This is going to be extremely lengthy!🫣😂❤️

The reason we chose Montana Pine:

- We wanted to get married abroad and Turkey was the first place we travelled to as a couple almost 9 years ago and we visit yearly. Turkey holds a special place for us.

- To me getting married on the beach was not an option!!

- We wanted a venue that felt intimate as we knew we wouldn't fill a massive area with guests. Montana pines guest limit is 50 so this was perfect for us- We had 31 guests.

- The views are outstanding!!

The booking process is so smooth and simple! If you have any questions at all Lynette and Clare are always on hand! (Beware though at the time of this review they are deep in wedding season so replies may be slower)

What i would recommend is that you read your emails👀

I was so excited to be booked and start the wedding planning process (2023) that i completely missed *prices subject to change* so I was totalling up numbers that no longer matched for 2025 weddings.

Standard Ceremony time in May 6pm-11pm.

As a bride you will hear all the time "soak up every minute because you blink and your wedding day is over"

With this in mind I knew i wanted extra time! We opted for 1hr but changed the timing 4-10 which to begin with a lot of people turned their noses up as you can imagine 10pm finish time at a wedding is early and seems silly but it worked perfectly for us. We knew we wanted to carry on our celebrations out out after so 10pm was perfect timing for all the guests/children that wanted to get home to bed and for me to get changed into a second dress and get out. We were out by 11pm and carried on the celebrations until 3am!💃🏼🕺🏻 - There was 16 of us🤩

My dad organised us a surprise grand entrance into a bar in Oludeniz called "Cosmos" 🍾

Few days before our wedding we had our wedding planning meeting. We met Laura who was absolutely lovely she drove us everywhere we needed to be (registry office, the hospital and to meet Aaron) nothing was too much trouble and everything just ran smoothly. (Blood tests no longer required to marry in Turkey but you still need to be taken to the hospital to sign a waiver form)

Aaron- Our wedding coordinator was absolutely fantastic! I was a very prepared bride. Aaron listened and typed he was great and then to see everything all come together on the day was just absolutely fantastic! Everything was exactly how i pictured it in my head and not 1 thing out of place😍

Things I brought with me from home:

For the ceremony I made each guest a little box each that had inside a personalised confetti packet, for your happy tears tissue and a paper heart fan.

- Top table flowers

- Personalised sign for top table flowers

- Just married wedding bunting

- All bouquets x4

- Mens buttonholes

- Paddle boards for my boys

- Placecards

- Scratchcard favours for the adults

- Activity packs for the kids

- Shot bottles & tags (bought the alcohol to fill them up in Turkey)

- Seat reservations

- Cake topper

- Guest book and Pens

- Memory stick with song choices

- (I even found a layout of the ceremony and reception and made my own seating plans accordingly)

Caroline Mcguire made our welcome sign and she did a fantastic job. I messaged through FB and again nothing was too much trouble❤️

Hair and Makeup- Goldfinger is recommended on this page and seems to be the most popular with the majority of Brides. I booked 3 Bridesmaid packages and 1 bride package before flying out to Turkey. Non refundable deposit of half of each package so in my case £215 upfront.

This included my trial which I had a few days before my wedding.

Hair and makeup was ok but not what I wanted. I wanted a "full glam" face and I felt like i had daytime wear. Which wasn't awful and the makeup was done ok I just didn't feel bride enough. I was told by a few more salons in the area that "full glam" is not something that they can do🤷🏻‍♀️ and my hair trial was again not awful but nothing like what I asked for.

So id spent £215 already i thought id be able to just have all 4 of our hair done on the morning of the wedding rather than paying the extra £215 and having makeup that we wouldn't like but I was told it was too late to change my mind and that I needed to pay the remaining £215 even if we wernt having makeup which didn't make sense to me so I went to a different salon for my hair on the morning of my wedding and we all did our own makeup.

So I essentially paid £215 for a trial that i didn't like but its the price you pay when going abroad for a wedding i guess. You win some you loose some.

Also, just to add this isn't me slating goldfinger like I said the majority of brides recommend this place and from what I see don't have a problem!

Wedding food- Incredible!! BEST food we ate all holiday!! So many of our guests said the same thing! There was small selection but enough variety and something for everyone. Freshly cooked and prepared in front of you! Absolutely delicious 😋

(Grilled chicken, sticky rice, chips, spaghetti pasta)- There was more than this i just cant remember now!

Drinks- The waiters were incredible always on hand to make sure everyone had a drink! The drinks were absolutely fantastic everything was canned fizzy pop and branded alcohol. A family member of mine only drinks a certain drink and the waiters went out their way to make sure it was on hand for him the whole night!🥹

Wedding cake- I don't know who makes the wedding cake that comes in the package but they need a pay rise!!😂 BEST wedding cake ive ever tasted! Also best cake I've ever had in Turkey! Honestly absolutely incredible and again guests agreed!! 👏🏼

Photography- Ümit! What a man! Honestly his photography skills are insane!🤩😍 just TWO days after our wedding our photos were ready to be picked up! We were given THE MOST GORGEOUS photo album- i cant even describe it's absolutely stunning all printed and 1,213 photos on a memory stick along with 1.5hr video of our whole day! I just cant even thank Ümit enough! Every photo is my favourite! Outstanding photographer!

Also the videographers (i don't know names, and the drone flyers- fantastic) 👏🏼

Dj- He was great, he played a great selection of songs most people were up dancing until the end. The only thing I would probably recommend which i actually forgot (even though i said i was a prepared bride🫣) is choosing a song to walk into your reception/dinner to (its not on the list) but our DJ played "Bruno mars- Marry you" which is quite generic but i hate that song🙈🫣😂 i would've had something like "freed from desire" 😂

Our song choices:

• My walk down the isle- Chlara- Truly madly deeply ❤️
• Walk back up the isle (which isn't actually a walk back up, it gets played after you're announced husband and wife and are signing your life away)- Calvin harris & Bebe rexha- Im good.
• First dance- Teddy swims- Youre still the one.

Wedding coordinators on the big day (Im really sorry I can't remember both your names) but they were absolutely fantastic!! The day ran so smoothly there was not an ounce of stress in sight not from me, the Groom or any of the guests. The day flowed exactly how youd expect it would at exactly the right timings. You never had to worry about what was happening next they were already 3 steps in front! Honestly ive never ever been to a more organised wedding! It was absolutely incredible and the way the night was finished was such a lovely touch. (I wont spoil that for future Brides or Grooms) it was just so so nice rather than "bars closing in half hour, last songs are being played"😂

We stayed at Sundia by liberty in Oludeniz beautiful hotel- beautiful location couldn't fault it for our holiday. We had many of our guests staying in different hotels nearby us but if I had the chance to do things all over again I would 100% of booked the Carrington suites for everyone! This is where we collected our photos from and it's absolutely stunning!! It would've been perfect especially for the morning of my wedding. I wanted all my bridesmaids with me hyping me up as you'd expect and because I didn't have my mum there with me to help me into my dress but because everyone was staying in different hotels they wernt allowed into ours😭 I ended up having my brother in law to help keep me cool and get me ready! It was amazing and he was absolutely fabulous but its not how I imagined my wedding morning🤍

Advice-

Future brides- Remember to say "I do" at the alter. I very proudly shouted "YES" and completely forgot the words "I do" 😂

DO NOT sweat the small things none of that matters once all is said and done. No one will remember what your colour scheme is or what favours you had. They'll remember all the memories you create with them on your big day!

I wish I could do it all over again, I would in a heartbeat and I would not change a single thing! - Maybe in 10 years for a vow renewal 💍🥰
